Our first international guest is Vaclav Platenik, a Czech native and experienced European political strategist. His international tips for campaigns highlight strategies that work in any country!
Vaclav has worked throughout Europe in political public relations, campaigns and elections. Most of his time has been spent in the UK and his homeland of the Czech Republic.
His current occupation is working as a Campaign Manager for the Christian Democrat party, a center-right party placed on Christian values and principles. He is also the co-founder of the Women’s Campaign School where he helps prepare Czech women to run for office through campaign, communication and leadership training.
It’s really easy to forget that campaigns occur outside the united states but I think there’s a lot we can learn by knowing more about the differences and similarities between how different countries and parties approach elections.
